Background:
The Martin-Peterson Scholars Award recognizes ACOG Young Physician members pursuing global health careers for their involvement in a global women’s health project or program with a clinical, advocacy, or educational focus. In addition to providing recognition of early career accomplishments, this award will identify potential future leaders in global women’s health.
The selected District IV winner will receive $500 to attend either the ACSM or District IV ADM in 2022. In addition, the winner will be submitted to ACOG National along with winners from every other district, and 2 National winners will receive complementary registration for the 2022 ACSM and $2,000 to support travel and related expenses for attendance.
Application Requirements:
• Applicants must be Young Physicians (has been a fellow for 8 or fewer years)
• Submission of an abstract describing the global health project or activity
• Submission of a CV
